Happiness is…
Snoopy and the gang have a clever way to give gratitude. They decide what generates happiness. And, for me, in this season of transition, grief, change, and a NEW YEAR, what a superb way to create a gratitude!
You cannot be dreadful when you are grateful.
I decided to make a list reminding myself of the simple yet important things which bring joy to each day. For example, I give thanks for the cup of coffee in the morning or slipping on my cowboy boots for the day's work. I am thankful for the short 30-minute walk around the neighborhood soaking up the clear blue sky, the fly swatter which kills the wasps who for some reason find my master bathroom a place for them to fly around.
Of course, giving thanks for the bigger things in life remains vital. I am deeply thankful for my physical health, a roof over my head, meaningful friendships, and my 6-month-old grandson!
So, let’s try it, shall we!!?? Grap your cup of java, a pen, and a journal. Let's give thanks!

Some of my deepest thoughts come to me whilst sitting at red lights. It happens to all of us, I just thought I'd write them down and share them with you! I'd love to hear your feedback on the thoughts that haunt my mind while waiting on "the other guy" to get off his cell phone and notice that the light is green!
